Mozhayets

Description
The spacecraft got its name in honor of Space Force Academy, named after A. F. Mozhaisky (St. Petersburg). It was used in the process of training the students of that Academy and other Institutes of Space Force. Besides the teaching goals, “Mozhayets” fulfilled scientific tasks and provided Russian and foreign radio-amateurs with communication as well. Experimental equipment, installed on the spacecraft, was designed for studying the influence of space radiation upon on-board electronics, and measuring the electric field strength around the spacecraft. “Mozhayets” S/C got an international radio-amateur call sign RS-20.
