ISS at SVIAZ-EXPOCOMM-2010
ISS-Reshetnev is taking part in the 22d edition of the SVIAZ-EXPOCOMM International Exhibition of Telecommunications Equipment, Control Systems, Communications Services and Information Technology being held in Moscow on May 11-14, 2010.
At SVIAZ-EXPOCOMM -2010 ISS-Reshetnev is demonstrating its latest achievements and advanced satellite projects. Within the Complex Satellite Control Solutions section visitors and guests can see a model of the advanced AMOS-5 satellite being built by the Reshetnev Company for the Israeli satellite operator Spacecom as well as ground antenna systems developed by NPO PM-Razvitie, a company recently integrated into the Reshetnev Company.
Among other satellite projects presented at the exposition there are two more models developed by ISS-Reshetnev. These are Express-AM44, Russia’s most advanced telecommunications spacecraft, and Express-AM5 that is currently being manufactured for the Russian national satellite operator RSCC. Express-AM5 will accommodate more than 80 transponders in the C-, Ku-, Ka- and L-bands and will have no less than14kW of power available for the payload.
The ISS program of work at SVIAZ-EXPOCOMM-2010 is very intensive and includes numerous business meetings with partners and customers.
The annual exhibition “SVIAZ-EXPOCOMM” is Russia’s largest international forum of that kind with a 30-year history. It provides a highly effective platform for business meetings and promotion of new technologies.
