Russian aerospace engineers on a training program at ISS-Reshetnev
Information Satellite Systems – Reshetnev Company has hosted one stage of the strategic personnel pool training program implemented by the United Rocket and Space Corporation (URSC).
On January 26-27, ISS-Reshetnev welcomed engineers from all across Russia who had come to Zheleznogorsk as part of the strategic personnel pool training program for the aerospace industry developed by URSC.
58 representatives of Russian aerospace companies are undertaking training within the framework of this program.
At ISS-Reshetnev Company, the program participants got a thorough insight into the vast experience the company had gained throughout its history in the field of satellite design, construction, testing and operation.
Senior specialists and representatives of the company’s management gave lectures on a wide range of topics covering satellite communications, navigation, geodes, import substitution and many others.
The program participants were also taken round ISS-Reshetnev’s site where they visited its assembly areas and antenna production facilities.
The strategic personnel pool training program for the years 2015-2016 is implemented by URSC to give Russian aerospace engineers an opportunity to attend theoretical courses and undertake training at aerospace companies of Russia, France and Holland. Among program participants there are six ISS-Reshetnev employees, they hold senior positions at the company and are in charge of the most important satellite projects.
