ISS-Reshetnev Company showcases at ARCHIMEDES-2015
Academician M.F. Reshetnev Information Satellite Systems is presenting its latest inventions at the 18th edition of Moscow International Inventions and Innovative Technology Salon ARCHIMEDES-2015 which is taking place .
At this exhibition which is considered the largest international showcase in the innovations segment, ISS-Reshetnev Company displays eight inventions in the field of satellite production.
A model of a satellite based on ISS-Reshetnev’s heavy-class Express-2000 platform takes center stage at the company’s stand. It demonstrates the company’s capabilities in building heavy communications and broadcasting satellites for a wide range of users.
Apart from that, the Reshetnev Company’s exhibits at ARCHIMEDES-2015 also include groundbreaking inventions and utility models which are applied to the process of making satellites for a broad array of applications. Among these developments there is a thermal vacuum test bench which is designed to help diagnose and analyze thermal parameters of onboard electronic equipment under simulated space conditions. Another invention presented at the exhibition is designed to protect satellite-based communications systems from unauthorized access. This solution may be implemented in the process of making satellite payloads and in ground hub stations.
During the International Inventions and Innovative Technology Salon ARCHIMEDES-2015 ISS-Reshetnev representatives are going to participate in a number of roundtable sessions, conferences and workshops devoted to the matters of legal protection of intellectual property.
Each year ISS-Reshetnev Company files more than 60 claims for an invention. In 2014 the company took out 50 Russian Federation patents for its inventions, six design patents, three patents for utility models and 27 certificates for its computer programs.
