ISS-Reshetnev’s satellite goes to cosmodrome
Blagovest, the new telecommunications satellite designed and built by Information Satellite Systems – Reshetnev Company, has safely arrived at the Baikonur cosmodrome.
Transportation of the Blagovest satellite went off according to plan. Throughout its way from the company’s facilities to the cosmodrome ISS-Reshetnev technicians monitored the transportation process receiving data from sensors installed in the pressurized transportation container.
At the Baikonur cosmodrome ISS-Reshetnev technicians will work together with the cosmodrome staff to further prepare Blagovest for the upcoming launch.
The telecommunications satellite Blagovest №11 was designed and constructed by ISS-Reshetnev Company around its unpressurized heavy-class Express-2000 platform. Blagovest is the first satellite that has a payload fully designed and manufactured by ISS-Reshetnev.
