ISS-Reshetnev wins federal contest
Information Satellite Systems – Reshetnev Company won a competition held by the Ministry of Education and Science on the Russian Federation and will receive additional backing at the state level.
One of ISS-Reshetnev’s advanced projects for the organization of import-substituting production of ground and space antenna reflectors was short-listed in the contest held by the Ministry of Education and Science on the Russian Federation. Winners of this contest will receive federal grants to implement their innovative projects and support high-technology production.
Composite reflectors are crucial components of almost every modern satellite. And today ISS-Reshetnev Company is capable of producing highly precise carbon fiber reflectors that are on a level with the world’s best counterparts.
This federal support is a result of the long-term and effective cooperation between ISS-Reshetnev Company, Siberian State Aerospace University and the Special Technology Design Bureau “Nauka” (Krasnoyarsk Scientific Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences). The project will be implemented in the Krasnoyarsk region thus greatly contributing to the Russian science and the region’s economy.
