The Ambassador of France visited JSC “ISS – Reshetnev Company”

On , Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France in the Russian Federation, Mr. Stanislase de Laboulaye, visited JSC “Information Satellite Systems – Reshetnev Company”. The President and Executive Director of “Thales Alenia Space”, Mrs. Pascale Sourisse and the General Director of SAFT Company Mr. Philippe Jehanno took part in the meeting.

The presentation of enterprise and the Russian-French cooperation in Space field for the French delegation took place at JSC “ISS – Reshetnev Company” facilities. The distinguished guests attended the production. The General Designer and General Director of JSC “ISS” presented satellites “Glonass-M” and “Lutch-2”, besides full-scale models of “Glonass-K” and “Gonets-M” were presented as well. The leader of enterprise informed the visitors about spacecrafts tests and about up-to-date development.

At direct participation of Ambassador of France in the Russian Federation, Mr. Stanislas de Laboulaye, the leaders of JSC “ISS” and “Thales Alenia Space” signed the Memorandum of understanding and Memorandum of intention. In addition, the Memorandum of mutual understanding was signed with “SAFT” Company. All these documents foresee the further consolidation of the Russian-French cooperation in the field of developing perspective spacecrafts.

At the end of meeting the press conference took place. Answering the reporters’ questions the Ambassador of France noted: “The presented Russian and French enterprises are in vanguard of international cooperation. My presence here pays attention that the Government of France is satisfied with that. What we have seen today is impressive. It is the high-accuracy work, it is nearly Art. I’m just admired with seen achievements.”

In memory of visiting JSC “ISS – Reshetnev Company”, the General Designer and General Director Mr. Testoyedov presented to Ambassador of France Stanislas de Laboulaye the golden memorable symbol decorated with diamonds, symbolizing the achievements of Siberian cosmonautics.
