ISS-Reshetnev’s young scientists receive President’s Award
Academician M.F. Reshetnev Information Satellite Systems held an award ceremony on to honour its young staff members, recipients of the RF President’s Award.
By order of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, 15 ISS-Reshetnev’s employees under 35 years old became recipients of the President’s Honor Roll Award.
At the award ceremony held at ISS-Reshetnev Nikolay Testoyedov, general designer and director general of the renowned satellite manufacturing company, congratulated the young staff members on their scientific achievements, handed out documents confirming their awards as well as valuable presents from the company.
The young scientists expressed their gratitude to the management of the company for the help and support in promoting their innovative ideas and projects.
A presidential award of 20 000 roubles is paid monthly over a period of three years to young employees of the military industrial complex for patented inventions in science. No more than 1000 people are honored with this prestigious award every year.
