“Glonass-M” goes to Baikonur
, the NPO PM specialists transported a navigation satellite “Glonass-M” to the Baikonur launch site.
This is the third spacecraft of the satellite cluster #37 planned to orbit in late December. Two other satellites had been earlier delivered to the launching site and now are being prepared for the launch.
In fact, it will be the second cluster of the “Glonass-M” satellites launched this year. The first three “Glonass-M” satellites created by NPO PM and aimed at replenishing the Russian Global navigation satellite system were orbited on 26 October. At present these satellites are being set for commissioning.
