ISS-Reshetnev takes part in forum “Arctic: today and the future”
Information Satellite Systems – Reshetnev Company is going to participate in the V International forum “Arctic: today and the future” which will take place in Saint-Petersburg on December 7-9.
The forum is held under the auspices of the International non-government organization “Association of Polar Explorers” and backed up by the Government of the Russian Federation. The event aims to promote diverse cooperation with a view to social and economic development of the Russia’s artic zone. More than 1000 representatives from Russia and abroad are expected to attend the forum.
ISS-Reshetnev Company will showcase its solutions and products that are poised to greatly contribute to the development of the Arctic region. The company’s exhibits will include models of its satellites: Glonass-K (navigation), Gonets-M (personal communications) and a satellite based on the Express-1000 platform (telecommunications).
The company delegates will also make a presentation of a wide spectrum of ISS-Reshetnev’s satellites’ capabilities in the field of navigation, communications services, geodesy, industrial and ecological monitoring.
At the forum’s panel session Alexander Kuzovnikov, head of communications and data-relay systems development at ISS-Reshetnev Company, will present a paper on the concept of providing satellite-based communications services to the Arctic territories
