Preparations resume for Express satellites upcoming launch
ISS-Reshetnev specialists have resumed preparing Express-80 and Express-103 telecommunications satellites for launch.
ISS-Reshetnev-built Express-80 and Express-103 satellites are undergoing check-outs of their systems at the Baikonur cosmodrome. The company personnel will then charge their storage batteries and mate satellites with the rocket.
Express-80 and Express-103 are due to launch together on a Proton-M / Breeze-M vehicle. The launch is slated for late July.
Express-80 and Express-103 were designed and built by ISS-Reshetnev Company for the Russian satellite fleet operator RSCC. When in orbit, they will provide a wide range of telecommunications services across Russia and the CIS countries.
