Best CNC milling machine operator in Russia works at ISS-Reshetnev Company
Rinat Akhmetshin, ISS-Reshetnev Company employee, is announced winner of Russia’s professional skills championship WorldSkills Hi-Tech 2016 in the “Milling work on CNC machines” skill category.
Rinat Akhmetshin took part in the III national cross-industry professions championship of high-technology industries WorldSkills Hi-Tech 2016 as part of the ROSCOSMOS team. He had been approved for this competition having won a silver medal at the previously held “industry” stage of the championship.
The national championship WorldSkills Hi-Tech 2016 was held in Yekaterinburg on October 30 – November 3 and, being Russia’s biggest and major event celebrating professional skills excellence, brought together more than 300 competitors from across the country. Rinat Akhmetshin was absolutely the best with his high results in the skill category “Milling work on CNC machines”.
WorldSkills Hi-Tech is an annual professional skills championship based on international WorldSkills standards. It is held in Russia among leading industrial companies and is aimed at inspiring and enabling young people under 28 to be ambitious in their pursuit of skills excellence. This year’s championship covered 27 skill categories, including areas which are of utmost importance for the aerospace industry such as milling and lathe work on CNC machines, electronics, prototyping and others.
