ISS-Reshetnev’s invention awarded Eurasian Prize
ISS-Reshetnev Company has become the winner of the Eurasian Invention Prize.
ISS-Reshetnev Company has been recognized for its invention “Umbrella-type spacecraft antenna” for which the Eurasian Patent Organization issued a patent in 2018.
ISS-Reshetnev’s invention was chosen for this award based on the results of the independent assessment done by the Eurasian Patent Organization on all the applications filed. The invention covers the process of development and production of a deployable mesh reflector antenna varying in diameter. It ensures high reliability of reflector deployment and shape stability of its radio-reflecting surface throughout the satellite’s mission in orbit.
ISS-Reshetnev Company was represented by a team of authors, including Vladimir Khalimanovich, Gennadiy Shipilov, Anatoliy Romanenko, Vitaliy Shalkov, Mikhail Leontev, Yuriy Ponomarev, Anton Timofeev and Vladimir Akchurin.
The award ceremony will take place in the capital city of Kazakhstan, Nur-sultan, during a ceremonial meeting on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Eurasian Patent Organization, which the prize competition was dedicated to.
