A new look at ISS-Reshetnev satellites
Information Satellite Systems – Reshetnev Company is taking part in the 28th International Exhibition of Communication and Telecommunications technologies SVYAZ 2016 in Moscow on May 10-13.
The event is taking place in Moscow at EXPOCENTER Central Exhibition Center and is supported by the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation and the Federal Communications Agency (Rossvyaz).
The SVYAZ 2016 exhibition is a benchmark event in the field of telecommunications and information technologies bringing together professionals from the CIS countries and Eastern Europe. ISS-Reshetnev takes part in this exhibition as Russia’s leading manufacturer of communications and broadcasting satellites. As of today, 11 out of 13 satellites forming the core of the orbital fleet operated by the Russian Satellite Communications Company (national operator, RSCC) have been built by ISS-Reshetnev Company. One of them, the Express-AM6 telecommunications satellite, carrying the Ka-band payload enables creating of a broadband network in the Central and South-Ural regions of Russia. The project is to be announced at one of the meetings within the framework of SVYAZ 2016.
The renewed constellation of telecommunications satellites which is presented at the exhibition helps address the problem of the digital divide between various regions across Russia and make the comprehensive array of modern communications and digital broadcasting services available to them.
The exhibition agenda also includes an extended session organized by the Federal Communications Agency to discuss the results of 2015 and plans for 2016, the Big Media Communication Forum, the X International Navigation Forum and the XX International Forum of the International Communications Academy.
