Scientific and Technical Council
Information Satellite Systems – Reshetnev Company held the Scientific and Technical Council on the occasion of the Russian Science Day.
The meeting was chaired by Nikolay Testoyedov, ISS-Reshetnev’s director general, Doctor of Engineering, Professor and a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Presenting his report at the meeting he spoke about research and development projects that ISS-Reshetnev Company had successfully completed in 2015 as well as those research programs that the company was currently implementing. Nikolay Testoyedov also stressed the important role that engineering and scientific work played in the process of building advanced satellites and other space technology.
The session participants were brought up to date on the company’s other projects, for instance, the data-relay satellite system Loutch and the way it was used for the benefit of Russia’s economy and social development.
ISS-Reshetnev employees are deeply involved in a great number of research projects and initiatives. And their efforts always gain recognition from the government. In 2015 seven ISS-Reshetnev employees were awarded presidential scholarships for their achievements in the field of scientific research, ground breaking developments, aerospace products and technologies. Seven other ISS-Reshetnev specialists were named the Russian Federation Government’s prize winners in the field of science and technology.
