ISS-Reshetnev celebrates Cosmonautics Day
Information Satellite Systems – Reshetnev Company is holding a series of special events to commemorate the Cosmonautics Day and the 60th anniversary of the Earth’s first artificial satellite launch.
In recognition of their commitment and excellence 96 ISS-Reshetnev employees received state and other awards: from the ROSCOSMOS State Corporation, the Federation of Cosmonautics of Russia, letters of appreciation and certificates of merit from the Governor and the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk region, local authorities and Mayor of Zheleznogorsk, the Russian Engineering Union.
On April 11, 2017 ISS-Reshetnev Company held a special event to honour its best employees. The most prestigious title – Honoured veteran of work – this year was awarded to 61 employees. Young ISS-Reshetnev employees were also distinguished – 57 people aged under 30 were awarded the title Best young employee. Moreover, portraits of 50 ISS-Reshetnev employees were placed on the company’s Recognition Board.
ISS-Reshetnev Company traditionally organized a number of educational, cultural and sporting events to celebrate its professional holiday – the First Space Art Festival, a school conference “The Space Industry and Applied Cosmonautics”, a children drawing contest “My space”. On April 12 ISS-Reshetnev Company is going to hold a chess championship among the schoolchildren of Zheleznogorsk “The Space of Chess”.
