Joint meeting with Rossvyaz and RSCC
ISS-Reshetnev Company hosted a meeting with its partners to track progress of satellite construction projects.
The meeting which took place at ISS-Reshetnev’s facilities, brought together delegates from the Federal agency of communications led by Igor Chursin, deputy head of the agency, and representatives of the Russian Satellite Communications Company (RSCC) headed by Yuriy Prokhorov, general director of the company.
The project status meeting was aimed to exchange and analyze information about the currently running projects under which ISS-Reshetnev was building satellites for the Russian operator RSCC.
The meeting participants visited the assembly department to inspect the Express-80 and Express-103 satellites prior to their shipment to the Baikonur cosmodrome. The satellites are expected to launch later this March.
Express-80 and Express-103 satellites are designed to provide reliable fixed and mobile communications, digital TV and radio broadcasting, high-speed internet access and data communications services in the territory of Russia and the CIS countries. Under this contract ISS-Reshetnev Company was responsible for the production of the satellites’ service module, payload module structure, integration of satellites and their tests.
