ISS-Reshetnev at navigation summit in Munich
Representatives of Information Satellite Systems – Reshetnev Company will take part in the Munich Satellite Navigation Summit on March 14-16, 2017.
The Munich summit is a conference dealing with satellite navigation provided by currently existing global and regional space-based systems. The event will be attended by representatives of those companies and organizations that take part in the development and application of such systems. Among those countries that have their own navigation systems at the summit there will be Russia, the USA, the European Union, China, India and Japan.
Information Satellite Systems – Reshetnev Company is a regular participant of the summit and represents Russia as a company responsible for the development and building of the GLONASS system’s space segment. ISS-Reshetnev delegation will be headed by Viktor Kosenko, first deputy general director – first deputy general designer. The company experts will present a report on the use of satellite navigation services for position measurements of high-orbit spacecraft.
At the Munich Satellite Navigation Summit ISS-Reshetnev team is also going to take part in workshops held by the International Committee on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (ICG), one of which is chaired by Sergey Revnivykh, deputy head of the GLONASS Directorate at ISS-Reshetnev Company.
