The JSC “ISS” at “Farnborough Airshow-2008” exhibition

From to July 20 the JSC “Information Satellite Systems” Reshetnev Company” will participate at the international aerospace salon “Farnborough Air Show - 2008”, Great Britain.

At the combined exposition of Federal Space Agency, the JSC “Information Satellite Systems” Reshetnev Company” will demonstrate the modern achievements and perspective developments in domestic cosmonautics. Nikolay Testoyedov, General Designer and General Director headed a delegation.

Models of navigation satellites “Glonass-M” and “Glonass-K”, powerful satellite “Express-AM44” and satellite-transponder “Loutch-5” will be demonstrated at the stand. The Company will also represent perspective satellite platforms “Express-1000H”, “Express-2000” and “Express-4000”. According to Nikolay Testoyedov, development of that family of satellites is being carried at the enterprise for several years: “The most important thing for satellite-building companies is spacecraft models replacement. At Roscosmos financing we develop 3 modifications of “Express-1000” platform and “Express-2000” platform for satellites of more heavy class. Jointly with Thales Alenia Space we developed “Express-4000” platform with better performances of “Express-2000” and “Spacebus 4000” platforms”. All the platforms meet the modern requirements of space techniques, and will be a basis for developing a series of different types new spacecraft for customers of a wider range.

Exhibition at Farnborough airport in the suburb of Great Britain capital has a status of central world static display for demonstration of aerospace techniques and presentation the innovative technologies in the branch. “Farnborough Airshow” is a biennial exhibition and is carried out with support of Society of British Aerospace Companies.
