Reshetnev Company showcases at Le Bourget 2015

Information Satellite Systems – Reshetnev Company is taking part in the 51st International Paris Airshow 2015 at Le Bourget on June 15-21.

ISS-Reshetnev, a Russian aerospace industry leader, participates in the event on a regular basis. The Paris Air Show happens once every two years and brings together all the players in this global industry around the latest technological innovations.

Taking part in the 51st edition of the show, ISS-Reshetnev is showcasing its key projects in the field of communications, data-relaying and navigation. These include models of Glonass-M satellite which form the core of Russia’s global navigation system GLONASS as well as modernized Glonass-K. Models of Express-AM6, Loutch-5A and Gonets-M satellites are intended to help visitors get acquainted with ISS-Reshetnev’s achievements in the development of satellites for telecommunications, data-relaying and personal communications applications. Today all these satellites successfully carry out their missions in various types of orbits. Besides, the company’s exposition also displays a model of Geo-IK-2, a geodetic satellite work on which is well underway now.

ISS-Reshetnev delegation led by Nikolay Testoyedov, Director General of the company, is going to hold business meetings and talks with more than 20 foreign partners and potential customers. ISS-Reshetnev also plans to sign a number of framework agreements for the supply of onboard equipment for the company’s future satellites.

The International Paris Airshow tracks its roots back to 1909 when in one of Paris’s suburbs, Le Bourget, the first show dedicated to aerial locomotion took place. Nowadays the exhibition is regarded as one of the largest and prestigious events in the field of aerospace technologies. This year it is expected to attract some 2000 representatives from more than 50 countries around the world.
