Projects supported by ISS-Reshetnev’s technology platform have been chosen as winners of the federal competition to receive grants from the government.
Seven projects supported by the technology platform “National information satellite system” won the competition organized by the Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation and will receive government grants for their implementation. The competition was held as part of the Federal Target Program “Research and development in priority areas of science and technology sector of Russia for the period 2014-2020”.
All the winning projects will be realized for ISS-Reshetnev Company by its partners represented by leading universities and research institutes, among which there are SibSAU, TUSUR, MAI, Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation, ITMO University, Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Science and Production Complex “Technological Center” of the National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET).
The projects cover a wide array of issues, including the development of adaptive antenna arrays for satellites, new technologies for satellites’ attitude control system, highly integrated 3D micro assemblies of power keys, modelling of satellites’ onboard data-processing networks. All these projects are expected to be realized by 2019.
As part of the competition, three of the seven projects received additional support from the AeroNet working group of the National technology initiative.
The technology platform “National information satellite system” was initiated in 2011 to act as a platform uniting business, science, education and public authorities. It embodies 108 Russia’s leading companies and research organizations working together towards a mutual aim – to develop and efficiently apply various space-based systems and complexes, and to increase Russia’s presence on the global satellite market. The technology platform is coordinated by Information Satellite systems – Reshetnev Company.
The National technology initiative is the program for creation of fundamentally new markets and the creation of conditions for global technological leadership of Russia by 2035. The AeroNet group aims to develop unmanned aviation and near-Earth space systems as well as complex solutions and services based on them.
