ISS-Reshetnev at GNSS conference in Croatia
On May 12-15 ISS-Reshetnev Company representatives took part in the 13th Conference on Global Navigation Satellite Systems in Baška (Croatia).
The GNSS conference brought together worldwide manufacturers of space products as well as experts in satellite navigation and related disciplines. They addressed various subjects in satellite navigation, including application and modernization of GNSS – Russia’s GLONASS, U.S. GPS, Europe’s Galileo and China’s BeiDou. ISS-Reshetnev Company attended this event as a developer and builder of the GLONASS system’s space segment. At a series of conference meetings ISS-Reshetnev representatives presented reports bringing colleagues to date on GLONASS’s current status and development prospects.
Program of the conference in Croatia also included a session dedicated to issues of GNSS signals compatibility. It was organized by a working group of the International Committee on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (working under the auspices of the United Nations Organization). This working group is co-chaired by Sergey Revnivykh, deputy general director of ISS-Reshetnev Company for the GLONASS Federal Target Program.
The annual GNSS conference is organized by the Royal Institute of Navigation (UK) jointly with a number of universities of Croatia and is held under the high auspices of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (Austria).
