Nikolay Testoyedov receives State Prize
Nikolay Testoyedov, Director general of Information Satellite Systems – Reshetnev Company has been awarded a 2015 State Prize in the field of science and technologies.
The State Prize in the field of science and technologies was awarded to Nikolay Testoyedov by Vladimir Putin personally, President of the Russian Federation. ISS-Reshetnev’s Director general, Nikolay Testoyedov, Doctor of Engineering, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Russian Government Prize winner in the field of science and technology in 2002 and 2013, received this year’s prize for the development of a communications system with space-based elements.
The Russian State Prize is awarded to outstanding science and culture professionals in recognition of their contributions and commitment to the society and the state. The awards ceremony was held in the St. George Hall in the Moscow Kremlin and became the central event of the 12th of June, Russia Day.
Vladimir Putin expressed his appreciation to all prize winners present at the ceremony. As the President said, “all of you brings together the true and profound dedication to your work. You have managed not only to understand your destination and experience its altitude, but also reach its highest pitch. Such a vein appears to those who are outstanding, strong, generous and brave”.
