Head of ROSCOSMOS visits ISS-Reshetnev Company
On April 17 Information Satellite Systems – Reshetnev Company welcomed delegates of the ROSCOSMOS State Space Corporation led by Igor Komarov, general director of the corporation.
Head of ROSCOSMOS, Igor Komarov, visited ISS-Reshetnev facilities as part of his business trip to the Krasnoyarsk region.
Igor Komarov was taken on a tour round ISS-Reshetnev’s facilities by Nikolay Testoyedov, general director of the company. At the assembly facility Nikolay Testoyedov demonstrated several satellites being built by the company around its heavy-class Express-2000 platform. As well as that, Igor Komarov was brought up to date on ISS-Reshetnev’s recent advances in the development and production of personal communications, navigation and geodetic satellites.
At the antenna production department Igor Komarov and the ROSCOSMOS delegates got acquainted with ISS-Reshetnev’s breakthrough technologies that it applied while developing cutting-edge antennas and large-sized foldable structures.
The ROSCOSMOS delegation also visited ISS-Reshetnev’s new Integration and Test facility, and the Siberian Regional Remote Earth Sensing Center. This center was opened by ROSCOSMOS at ISS-Reshetnev Company two years ago to receive and process information coming from Earth remote sensing satellites and deliver it to end users in the Krasnoyarsk region.
