V Innovation Forum results
Academician M.F. Reshetnev Information Satellite Systems participated in the V Innovation Forum which took place in Zheleznogorsk on November 20-21.
This year the forum was held under the slogan “Cooperation for innovation-driven growth”. It brought together federal and local authorities, representatives of companies, universities, experts and business communities from various cities across Russia. Participants of the forum discussed the trends prevailing in the industry, the way cities pursued technological development in the face of present-day challenges, how industrial companies and academic institutions could cooperate, and the role innovation clusters played in the formation of small high tech businesses.
Nikolay Testoyedov, general director of ISS-Reshetnev Company, in his speech at the forum’s plenary session said that today’s challenges were nothing new for high technology companies. “Russia’s nuclear-space shield which is ensured by our town always has to withstand constant challenges. To be capable of strengthening the country’s defense capabilities, ensuring its economic and technological security means to be always aware of challenges and face them with confidence”, said Nikolay Testoyedov.
Innovative solutions and advanced technologies presented at the forum by Russian companies and ISS-Reshetnev in particular are a good and relevant example of how the Russian aerospace industry successfully overcomes challenges of the present day.
It was the first time the Innovation Forum was held in the industrial park which had been built to house small and medium-sized businesses specializing in the development and production of innovation-driven and science-intense products in the interest of Zheleznogorsk-based companies. During the forum the first residents of the industrial park and the Government of the Krasnoyarsk region signed a series of cooperation agreements.
