Skills competition kicks off at ISS-Reshetnev
ISS-Reshetnev Company is holding its traditional annual professional skills competition.
ISS-Reshetnev’s professional skills competition is devoted to the Engineering Workers Day and will run at the company from September 25 till October 6. The competition is organized in accordance with standards and schedules specified by the ROSCOSMOS State Corporation which ensures that the winners are capable of meeting more demanding requirements and standards set by the Russian rocket and space industry.
More than 100 specialists will compete and demonstrate their abilities in engineering and working competencies in three age groups: under 26, under 34, 35 years and above. The participants will compete in 11 skill categories.
The first to go are those ISS-Reshetnev employees who chose the “Welding technology” and “Engineering graphics CAD” categories. Then they will be followed by specialists representing “Lathe work on CNC machines”, “Milling work on CNC machines”, “Prototyping”, “Electronics”, “Milling work (general)”, “Lathe and Borer”, “Machine fitter (bench work of parts)” and “Machine fitter (spacecraft assembly)”.
Winners of ISS-Reshetnev’s professional skills competition will be announced on October 6.
