ISS-Reshetnev’s projects to receive federal backing
A number of hi-tech projects initiated by ISS-Reshetnev Company received government backing.
Eight space-themed projects will be subsidized from the federal budget – all of them were announced winners of the grant competition organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia. These projects were included in the shortlist following the results of competitive admissions performed as part of the Federal Target Program “Research and Development Work to Support High-Priority Development of Russia’s Science and Technology Sector during 2014–2020” and Government Decree № 218 that provide financial backing for joint initiatives between industrial companies and universities in the hi-tech field.
The winning projects are to be implemented by universities and organizations of the Russian Academy of Sciences (partners of ISS-Reshetnev Company) during the next three years. They will include research, development and design of new innovative systems, hardware, software and materials for application in satellite building, as well as the promotion of various services based on them.
