A worker of the JSC “Information Satellite Systems” Reshetnev Company” is awarded with high governmental award
On a worker of Spacecraft and Systems General Design Department of the JSC “ISS” Jury Baksheyev was awarded with medal of order “For Service to Motherland” of the 2nd degree.
A leading design engineer of the JSC “ISS” Jury Bakshayev got a high governmental award from the hands of governor of Krasnoyarsk region Alexander Khloponin. He was awarded with medal of order “For Service to Motherland” of the 2nd degree for big personal contribution to development of the best space techniques samples.
Jury Bakshayev has been working at the JSC “ISS” for more than 30 years. His first projects are: development of “Raduga” and “Ekran” communication satellites that initiated the basis of uniform satellite communication system and the system of direct telecasting. Later on Jury Bakshayev actively worked on “Gorizont”, “Raduga-1”, “Express”, “Express-A”, and “Raduga-1M” spacecraft development. At present, at his direct participation the project development of perspective satellite-transponders “Loutch-5A” and “Loutch-5B” is completed. According to Jury Baksheyev’s colleagues, he has a broad science-technical outlook; in addition he carries on a scientific searching, and is able to organize and attach importance to scientific researches. His special attention is focused on increasing the engineering performances of young specialists, handing them over his personal experience. For his special services in developing space techniques he also was awarded with rank of “Honored Designer of the Russian Federation”.
