On-the-job training at ISS-Reshetnev
Information Satellite Systems – Reshetnev Company has completed its summer on-the-job training program giving unique hand-on experience for 114 students of Russia’s leading technical universities.
At ISS-Reshetnev, young people undertook a two-month training program to get acquainted with the company’s current activities and the process of building satellites, as well as to develop skills in their fields of study working at the company’s production shops, design and engineering departments.
ISS-Reshetnev Company received students of 11 universities: Baltic State Technical University «Voenmekh» (Saint Petersburg), Kazan National Research Technical University (Kazan), Bauman Moscow State Technical University and Moscow Aviation Institute (Moscow), Samara State Aerospace University (Samara), Novosibirsk State Technical University (Novosibirsk), Siberian State Aerospace University and Siberian Federal University (Krasnoyarsk), Tomsk State University, Tomsk Polytechnic University and Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (Tomsk).
All the students who arrived in Zheleznogorsk to undergo training at ISS-Reshetnev received comprehensive support: the company compensated their travel costs and provided accommodation. What is more, trainees were paid while they worked.
