Update of occupational standards
ISS-Reshetnev Company is bringing up to date four occupational standards related to the design and manufacture of space technologies and products.
Developed by ISS-Reshetnev Company in 2015, four occupational standards are now being reviewed and updated in order to conform to Russia’s National Program “Digital Economy”. They are updated to reflect the current needs of digital technologies and capture ISS-Reshetnev Company’s best practice in using these occupational standards.
Changes have affected the following current occupational standards: “Spacecraft assembly technician”, “Expert on the design of spacecraft antenna and feeder devices”, “Expert on the design of spacecraft onboard equipment”, and “Expert on onboard control system electronics for automated spacecraft”.
Drafts of updated occupational standards have been already submitted for review to various organizations of the aerospace industry and also have been posted on the websites of the Council for Occupational Standards for Rocket Technologies and Space Activities, and Russia’s Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
Following public and professional review and evaluation the modified occupational standards will be submitted to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection for final consultation.
