Medal from WorldSkills Competition
An ISS-Reshetnev Company employee won a medal at the 45th WorldSkills Competition.
Two design engineers, Artem Kuznetsov and Vladimir Bolgov, represented ISS-Reshetnev Company at WorldSkills Kazan 2019, a professional skills competition, which took place in the capital city of Tatarstan, Kazan, on August 22-27.
Vladimir Bolgov took part in the competition as an expert while Artem Kuznetsov demonstrated his excellence in the “Rapid prototyping” skill category. This category was not a part of the main competition program, but was included in a special module dedicated to Future Skills. Apart from Artem Kuznetsov two participants from China, an engineer of the Rosatom Corporation and a student of the Stavropol State Agricultural University (member of Russia’s national WorldSkills team) competed for medals in this module.
According to the amount of points scored and excellence demonstrated, Artem Kuznetsov surpassed his opponents from China and earned a bronze award of the championship.
In the “Rapid prototyping” skill category the ability to quickly fabricate a scale model of a physical part or assembly using computer aided design technologies and digital tools is evaluated.
