ISS-Reshetnev holds end-of-the-year meeting of Science and Technical Council
Information Satellite Systems – Reshetnev Company is holding a meeting of the Science and Technical Council on December 30, 2016.
The council meeting which is chaired by Nikolay Testoyedov, general director of ISS-Reshetnev Company, Doctor of Engineering, is focusing on the results of the company’s activities through 2016.
In the year which is coming to an end now, three satellites designed and built by ISS-Reshetnev Company have been launched into orbit with 11 more currently stored at the company’s facilities waiting for launch.
Today ISS-Reshetnev Company is busy producing more than 30 satellites for various applications, including the two new telecommunications satellites Express-80 and Express-103, the contract for which came into effect in the late December.
The company has also completed 38 research and development projects and started working on the same number of programs using achieved R&D results. Now ISS-Reshetnev is implementing a total of 90 R&D projects.
The projects, activities and results achieved contribute to the quality and efficiency improvement of the company’s products, technologies and services. Development prospects of innovative solutions and technologies for 2017 as well as various aspects and challenges associated with them are also among subjects of discussion at the end-of-the-year meeting of Science and Technical Council.
